There are more than 300 species of birds in the Sierra Nevada. In Minca and its glorious surroundings, you have a great opportunity to observe more than 150 species such as Tucans, Oropendolas, Macaws, several kinds of Hummingbirds and many others. We will get to Los Pinos to see the sunrise and enjoy the morning cofee. This spectacular moment is accompanied by sounds of Howler Monkeys and many birds. There we can observe many species of birds with our experienced bird guide. After the sunrise, we start a hike down to Waterfall Marinka. With binoculars on our hands, we are ready to see many birds on this beautiful trail. Once we arrive at the waterfall, its time to take a break and swim in the refreshing water of Sierra Nevada. After Marinka, we’ll get back to Minca to have lunch.

You can add the activity for the afternoon:

• Option 1: Coffee tour La Victoria (120.000 COP per person) After lunch, we go by 4×4 to the oldest coffee farm in the Sierra Nevada, La Victoria, where we’ll come to know everything about coffee and the history of the farm.
• Option 2: Coffee Tour La Candelaria (100.000 COP per person) After lunch, we hike to another mountain, approx. 1 hour from Minca to an organic farm La Candelaria. Where they explain everything about growing and processing of the coffee.
